Affiliate disclosure

You should know how a directory link works before you follow it.

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Current status: no affiliate URLs configured

SecureThreats currently uses official vendor URLs as its outbound destination. No affiliate URLs are configured in the directory’s product data. Do not assume that a listed product has paid for placement or that a purchase currently earns this site a commission.

What may change in the future

If we add affiliate links, SecureThreats may earn a commission when you make a qualifying purchase after following one. A commission would come at no added cost to you for using the link. The vendor sets its own prices, eligibility, billing and offer terms; this statement is not a promise of the lowest price or a special discount.

We would update this disclosure and the relevant link context when affiliate relationships are added. Outbound vendor links are marked with rel="sponsored nofollow", along with security-related link attributes, so search engines can recognize their commercial context. Those technical attributes do not mean a commission is currently configured.

Listings are not paid rankings

The directory defaults to alphabetical listing order. Future commission availability would not change that default, create a favorable rating or justify an unsupported claim. SecureThreats does not publish invented star ratings, hands-on test results or performance scores.

Listings are summaries of public vendor information, with linked sources and visible limitations. Inclusion is not an endorsement, and the directory is not an exhaustive list of every product. Read how we list tools for the methodology and its limits.

No purchase necessary

You can read guides, use the quiz and compare categories without buying anything. Free habits, manual actions and built-in device controls may meet your needs. In the US, credit freezes and unfreezes are free at all three major bureaus; paid monitoring does not replace them. Actual identity theft calls for recovery steps, not a rushed purchase.

Your decision stays yours

Before signing up, check the vendor’s current features, devices, price, renewal rate, permissions, privacy policy and cancellation terms. Any purchase or subscription is between you and the vendor. Our educational summaries do not guarantee a result.

For questions or corrections about a disclosure, see the contact page. For information about external links and request data, read the privacy policy.
